1/1934 - 08/1934: Dad was working in Pioche, Nevada at a mine. He had to quit for health reasons. Some of Grandpa Minor's bothers worked those mines and died form lung disease. It seems Dad always did have trouble catching Pneumonia easily. It was wise he did not stay at that job.
